Ms. Zhang Sujiu, born in 1935, is of Han nationality. Her ancestral home is Huanglu Town, Chaohu City, Anhui Province. She is the youngest daughter of the famous patriotic general Zhang Zhizhong, a famous patriotic overseas Chinese leader in the United States, and is currently the honorary director of Rose Oh Wiki Education Group.

Educational background and early work experience
- Entered Mingde Girls' Middle School in 1947 to study junior high school, and went to Peking in 1949. In 1952, she was admitted to the HVAC major of the Department of Architecture of Tsinghua University. In 1954, she was assigned to the Department of Civil Engineering of Tianjin University to teach for more than 20 years. During this period, she went to Harbin Institute of Technology for further studies in 1955.
Experience in the United States and overseas Chinese leader career
In 1981, she went to Kentucky State University in the United States to engage in academic research, and later worked as an engineer in a high-tech company in Silicon Valley, California. In 1992, he served as the president of the American Angel Technology Development Center and organized a short-term training course for the Chinese financial industry. In 1999, he served as the president of Tsinghua North America Education Foundation and raised a large amount of funds for Tsinghua. In 2003, he served as the president of the Beijing Federation of the United States and founded the magazine "Tsinghua in North America". In 2007, he was elected as the chairman of the Federation of Chinese Associations in Southern California, and promoted the Beijing Olympic float and the Shanghai World Expo float to participate in the Pasadena parade.
In 2008, he organized more than 3.5 billion overseas Chinese from more than 100 countries to donate 900 million yuan to build the Water Cube.
Without government funding, the Water Cube was successfully completed.
Social contributions and cultural exchange activities
In 2008, he organized the Wenchuan earthquake relief art evening and the fund for out-of-school children. In 2010, he founded the Hollywood "Angel Cup" International Youth Music and Art Festival, and in the same year, he organized the American overseas Chinese community to donate to the Yushu earthquake. In 2015, he organized many commemorative activities for the 70th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japan. In 2016, he initiated the establishment of the American Women's Association. In June 2024, he signed a letter of intent with Master Huiming, the abbot of Jing'an Temple in Shanghai, for the plan to build a temple in Los Angeles, USA.
Personal honors
- Won the 70th Anniversary Medal of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the fifth "Light of China-Annual Person of the Year for Spreading Chinese Culture" and other honors.
Personal life
- He likes dancing in his spare time and was a member of the school dance team and gymnastics team. He married Zhu Renzhong in 1956 and has two daughters and one son. His daughter Zhu Xiaojiu changed her career from a biochemical postdoctoral fellow to a lawyer and was awarded the British Royal Medal in 2019.
